Why does your comeback have to be this short?

Miss Snotty: I just read a rather interesting book by my favorite author.

Sir Uhm-a-lot: And that'd be what, Snotty dearie?

Miss Snotty: Don't call me dearie, I call people 'dear' or 'dearie' only when I feel horribly condescending. Anyway, this book is called Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams. The love.

Sir Uhm-a-lot: Errrr. I called you that before, but okaaaay…

Miss Snotty: Maybe I am simply feeling snottier than usual. I haven't had lunch. Aand it's raining in a while, thunder's been rolling in the distance.

Sir Uhm-a-lot: So the book from the same guy who did The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, eh? Perfect reading for thunder rolling? Yesterday we had that and, yes, we lost electricity for thirty minutes, thus depriving me of the chance to watch my beloved school beat up their opponent.

Miss Snotty: I have never liked sports much, really, only because I'm not good at it. I'm a good reader. A darn good reader if I may say so - but not lately, I think. I can't focus. I pass good books by while reading them. Or they're the ones doing the passing by but it's really hard to determine.

Sir Uhm-a-lot: Well I couldn't assess my priorities either. I don't honestly really care about sports, much more when you can snuggle up after getting your eyes tired from reading some book in the middle of the rain. And then comforting thoughts enter your head. You get the idea. I think.

Miss Snotty: Maybe all you need is love? Well I'm sure I do. Marco just came by for a visit, as in right now. As usual, I do my womanly duties.

Sir Uhm-a-lot: So should I leave you both to, err, whatever your hearts desire? As of the moment I'm merely wallowing in my incurable romantic tendencies for, among all things, a video project…

Miss Snotty: That's a sad thing. Now go get a girlfriend.
